Why don't you just use your own soundtrack? Burnout 3 supports it. I pretty much play the game to Marilyn Manson.

[EDIT: you're gonna say you have the PS2 version next, aren't ya]

Isn't there an option to turn the tracks off? I know that there are a few of them that you can't turn off completely, but still. At least you can cycle through the tracks on the Xbox version during a race. I'd assume that PS2 has a similar function.

Na... on the Ps2 you can only turn off a handful. There are only about 5 songs out of the 48(?) or so that I like (Ramones!), so the passible 5 are set to "race only", the rest I set to "menu only" or "off" that way I don't have nasty tunes crappin up my burnin'

Besides the songs, I REALLY love this game... since it's an EA title I was expecting some aspect to be total crap (I just dislike EA, my opinion). I'm just glad that it was the music and not the gameplay. I haven't looked but maybe there is an audio option where you can leave the game sounds on but mute the music. Then you could play a cd or something and listen to it. I have done this alot for games that I liked but couldn't tolerate the soundtrack. Oh, and be sure to turn of the DJ commentary while your in there! LOL

I have to give them credit on one account. They could have done worse as far a song selection goes. I mean, how much more uninspired techno-rap crap are developers gonna cram into games? I like tech-electronic music alot, I just hate any music that is flat and has no soul to it.

:2gunfire: BAD MUSIC :rockets: Why don't you just DIE already?!?!?!

Hey, maybe I'll be lucky and get flamed for my opinions. Wouldn't that be fun? LOL

I just got an XBOX and Burnout3 and to be honest i don't really mess around with the music (while) racing, but i have to say it's one of, if not the best racers i have ever played and i think the music is just right!..

I was just wondering is there any real changes between the Xbox version and the PS2 version of Burnout 3???

Sweet game! :D

Easy.

1.Put cd in your Xbox, and download it to the hard drive.(Make sure it isn't a copy or a mix)
2.In Burnout 3 in the menu you can go to EasyTrax(it is called something like that) and it lets you select what cd you want to play.
That should do it.

I wish more games supported it,I really only can use it with Splashdown and Burnout 3.
