DP Wire Volume 1.02!

The DP Wire will be hitting your inboxes tomorrow, and we want to know what you think of it!

As this issue was being assembled, we noticed that this issue was a bit longer than the last issue. We're a bit concerned that we may have actually made it too long. When you get your issue, please let us know what you thought about the length and the content presented. :) Please don't vote until you get your issue on Saturday!

If you think it's too short, let us know what needs to be added. If you think it's too long, let us know what you think we could do without.

As always, any other comments you have are more than welcome!

Agreed. And personally, I wasn't ready for the last issue to end when it did. I was reading along and then it ended, and I remember thinking - hey, that wasn't as long as I thought it would be. Very cool nonetheless, but a bit on the short side.

Perhaps that was just me!

my personal view is make it as long as we have information to put it

if something is informative and interesting, it isnt too long

hopefully everyone agrees with me so that we can put as much as we can in the wire

Now, I do have a serious beef about something...when you use this color font on the black background, I can't read it. Again, maybe that's just me, but that's my two centavos.

That's weird, because in no place did I use a blue font. The font should be white, with a couple of exceptions where it is red. :o

If you could do me a favor, take a screenshot for me and email it to DPWire@digitpress.com. Also, let me know which email client you use, as we've had some compatibility issues that I've had to work around for a few of them.

I actualy found it short. Took me a whole ten minutes to finish. As its the first one for me, I have no idea how long or short it compares to previous issues. There are a few things I wish had been covered more. Homebrews. By this I mean more then just the Atari scene. I know there is some Dreamcast titles being made homebrew curently. Dont know anything about the NES and SNES homebrew scene and wish I could. Did enjoy everything in it though. Even though I found it short, it left me wanting for more. So that must mean its rather good!

I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird to read DP wire and it looks fine, no blue links. Might be a setting in Outlook or something to make all links blue and underlined or something.

Anyways I voted for "Just Right." Seemed like a good length to me! Keep up the good work.

It's coming... trust me. This issue was all about the Atari scene because that's by far the biggest homebrew story right now. I can't write about it all every week! That would make it pretty boring. Don't worry, the stuff you've asked for is coming. It's definitely coming. Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely move DC up on my priority list.
