Alright, so now that I finally have a PS2, there are a few games I've been wanting to pick up, one of which is Sky Gunner. I've been interested in it ever since I saw the bi-planes in the artwork. The problem is, neither www.ebgames.com nor www.gamestop.com have it anywhere on their sites. All I wanted was a price, damn it! So what's the deal? Is it not out yet? I was almost sure it was....
On a side note, has anyone played this game? What's your opinion of it?
I found the demo rather unenjoyable. Even the Tutorial is difficult; it doesn't really give you any direction in accomplishing your objective. I'd fly around in search of the target & invariably it'd say I'd gone "out of bounds" or something. Call it "hand-holding", but I like to know what I'm supposed to do & where to go! The chain combos for high scoring are hard to do too. I offered it to a friend to keep- & he didn't!
On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of flight sims...maybe it's just me.

When it came out, it was $40-45 in August (?). I'll check the price tomorrow when I go to work, but I'm pretty sure it was delisted (meaning we won't get any more copies new in). It's fun, but it's also damn hard.

Yup...its out...
Had high hopes for this game, but didn't like it after I bought it...took it back to Playsource.

yeah, it's got some really cool graphics but it suffers from some serious SLOWDOWN (really bad sometimes)
