Also, Remy from Street Fighter III, 3rd Strike, wiggles his hands before certain matches. If you leave him idle, he also shakes his hand as if it is tingling. Given the appearance and physique of this character, it would appear that he is a user of hard drugs, and the hand and arm shaking is likely due to his appendages tingling because of this.

Max Payne takes the cake for hypocrisy. It doesn't get much worse than a narcotic-popping DEA agent out to kill "junkies".

Then there was Solid Snake using Diazepam (Valium) to steady his hand when using the sniper rifle. I remember when I first played MGS, I had Snake take 6 at once to see if he would pass out, but nothing happened.

The Oddworld games are also ripe with symbolic drug references. Soul Storm brew is analogous to the ravages of alcohol abuse among Native American tribes. The Espresso drinks in Munch's Oddysee demonstrate that caffeine addiction is a universal trait.

And remember when all the arcade games used to have the FBI / Dept. of Justice logo with the phrase "Winners Don't Use Drugs"? I mean, come on! For Christ's sake!

On Neo Mr. Do! on MAME, the dip switches can be set for different regions. The only notable difference I saw was that if you switched it to Japan, you didn't get the "Winners Don't Use Drugs" FBI warning.
