What market do you guys think there is for the freebie stuff you get with video games?
We are considering adding a section to www.J2Games.com for collectibles. To handle all the old Atari game patches, Atari Lynx pins, Donkey Kong and Pac Man freebies (like the barrel of moneys you got with Donkey Kong 64!) and other stuff like the teeshirts, glasses, clocks, etc. that they used to hand out.
I have acres of this stuff and curious how much interest there would be.
Thanks ahead of time for the responses!

I think there's always a good market for this type of stuff. From my experience, if someone likes a game well enough, they also like to collect what they can to go with it. And virtually every game has one fan that is that hardcore into that particular game.
Like me, I'm looking for the rest of the Super Monkey Ball plushies - I'm a huge Super Monkey Ball fan, and I'd love to have the complete set of all 4 of them. So yeah, I think there's a market, especially with really interesting promo type stuff.

People love to get their hands on little video game nic-nacs. I think it would be wise to add a section like that to your website.

I'd like to see that. I'd mostly like to see bonuses OTHER than tee-shirts...

Hmmm, 5 Yes's and nobody who is against it...
Maybe I will look further into it. I had been dumping alot of this stuff on Ebay just for ease of it.
And I have the wacky stuff, the old Patches you used to get from Activision when you sent in a picture of the tv screen with a high score, glasses, animation cells, hats, tee shirts, and a barrel of monkeys! (kinda like the partridge in a pear tree....)
Thanks for the feedback, for those you you who have responded, become a member on the site www.J2games.com and I will send you a 10% off your order coupon.
Thanks! J2Games.com

theres a market if hte price is right. no one wants to pay 10 bucks for a sticker plus 3 dollars shipping. so if youre going to sell something make it something people will actually pay for, seeing something you want for a stupid price pisses people off, deterring them from buying from you.

Oh goody, a site that will look at promo stuff. As my name implies I LOVE promo stuff. In fact I will go so far as to say I love promo stuff more than games themselves.

I want to get some of those Activision patches and some other things if you have any. You should add a video game comic and manga section to the site.

Looking forward to being able to browse promo stuff. As stated above, I would love to get quite a few things, but only if the price is right. I am actively seeking the two Laser Blast patches, here's to hoping they are among those that will be addeed.
I find this to be a great idea. I enjoy collecting videogame memoribillia (especially Final Fantasy 3/6, anything original NES, and Shadowgate) but as others have said, people will buy if they enjoy the game. Good luck with it, I will be interested in seeing the final result.
