Picked up a few weird NES carts.....

One is some kind of multicart by supervision. It doesn't play in my NES (I remember my Dad soldered a wire in my old nes so we could use a multicart he bought but don't know if that's necessary). The intro screen comes up, it has a little grid, and the bubble bobble dragon walks through it, but then it causes the NES blinking problem. It appears to have 20 games on it. This one came in a small box that said "Video Dean" on it. Thing is, I think that's a different box cause it looks like it's a collection of old VCS games.

Other was Gradius II or something? Looks like a pirate cart I guess. It's solid black. That one blinks as well.

Also got gyruss for 2 bucks...had the box and manual forever.

Yesterday I went to the flea and found a 6-switch woodgrain Atari with a nice set of original paddles and joysticks, and some common games but passed them up initially without inquiring about the price. This was JUST in case I found something better at the fleamarket. Well it turns out there was nothing better. So on my way out I went back to ask for the price. $10 he says, and I'm thinking "Hey, thats not bad at all" I'm in my car on the way to work when at a stoplight I start looking through the seven "common" Atari games. It turns out I found the Atari Mail-In exclusive Atari Video Cube! I had an inkling that it might be rare, but it wasn't until I arrived at the office when I looked it up on eBay and Digitpress that I confirmed my suspisions!

Then later that day I found Halo Combat Evolved for $12 finally, to go along with my Halo Special Edition XBOX that I had purchased at the same pawn shop a month earlier for $100. 8-)
