I can't believe I don't know this, but where is the Expos team going then??

And have you ever seen the attendance at an Expos game? I mean yes there a bad team, but the attendance was fucking horrible. I remember a couple games recently that attendence was around the 5000 mark, which is pathetic. (It's not like the owners want to keep losing money)

I think Washington. Freaking D.C. or close by. Jesus! The Senators. ROFL what a joke that team was. Almost as bad a name as The Browns or whatever that was.

Even though attendance was awful, that's a terrible thing to do to a town. I could imagine what'd happen if the Red Wings decided to pack it up out of Detroit since they don't like the looks of the city or some such. Yeah, that's different, but still. Expos brought money into the town.

Thats gross. actually, if you read the auction, it says that the hotdog is a WAX REPLICA, and that the bread has been preserved with chemicals.

Oh.

This unique item is composed of the original bread scientifically preserved and a moulding of the sausage.

Now see I thought it said the sausage was moldy... LOL

Hey, it's an interesting way to get some money for charity. Definitely "news of the weird" material, though. LOL

And yeah, the Expos are going to DC. Portland was trying to get them for a while, too.

The hot dog itself is preserved in a vial. They have a picture of it on the CBC website. The guy who founded the Cirque du Solei won.

thats weak. so you ar not really buying the last hot dog, you are buying the last bun. it would be different is they preserved the dog, but you get a replica dog. bad advertising, this is not the last dog, this is the last bun :)

I believe the actual hot dog stored in the vial comes with the auction.

Personally, I'm VERY surprised that user name hadn't been taken already! Come on, it's a famous name. Cirque du Soleil!
