Will Cart Commander ever be updated?

I've used this awesome piece of software for years now.

I'm wondering if it will ever be updated since the latest version is from April 7, 2002.

Since it's starting to show its age, I'm wondering what other programs are out there that you guys use?

I'm on a Mac, so I really would prefer a native OS X program, but I can always run Windows programs through Virtual PC (like Cart Commander).

I found this program, but it lacks classic system support:

Anyone found something better than Cart Commander?

I don't think it will be.

I stopped using it because it was crashing everytime I was doing modification.

Now, I'm using Electronic Game Manager.
