Just was looking around Lik-Sang.com and saw this so I went to the manufacturers website. It looks really cool, and for just $25 its not that bad. Anyone heard of this?

I saw this a few months ago on linkerworld.com.

I also found this although I don't know what it is I imagine this will be Nintendo's official version:

Yeah, I got one of these. It fucking ROCKS. I don't use it for movies and such, mind you. I got it because you can throw pocketnes.gba onto your compact flash card, and run NES ROMs up to 192 KB on your GBA. With 4-player link support. Go. Order now.

We sold them, and while the packing is not that professional and there's no printed literature, the device is interesting. You can rip DVD and other file formats and put them on CF cards to play on your Game Boy Advance too - the only catch is that a game MUST be in the device along with a compact flash card to work. I mean other than that, you can read (TXT) documents, listen to MP3s and such...pretty good. And, it is also upgradeable (which you'll probably have to do when you get it by downloading an update from movie-advance.com, I think). If you have a digital camera which uses a CF card, just copy what you want to your CF card while in your digital camera and then stick it in the Movie Advance, otherwise, you need a reader/writer.

This only applies to the 1st version. Liksang is currently selling the redesigned 2nd version which doesn't require a licensed cartridge to be inserted.

Yeah, and pay a lot more. If you've already got some Compact Flash sitting around, this is a great way to make a little more use of it. The player takes advantage of the 256 KB "multi-boot" RAM in the GBA to load the PocketNES emulator and the ROM of choice. So for $25 and one CF card, you can get nearly flawless emulation of NES games up to 192 KB. I'd say it's worth it. Four-player Super Off-Road, bitches. ;-)
