Mods, feel free to lock this if it's already been discussed, but I found this thread on Warp Pipe. Kind of crazy, The Ring-like clues supposedly leading to info on the DS. It was too long for me to absorb the whole thing-has anyone been following this string of clues that can give a summation?

This may just be a bunch of nonsense, but I love scavenger hunt puzzles like this :)

yes I created a thread about this a few weeks ago, but it doesn't matter the Warp Pipe team (mainly that dude Chad) and the N-sider team (mainlt that guy Dean) are being very tight lipped and dancing around whatever the hell they are trying to reveal. From what everyone has gathered and hopes for it seems that Warp Pipe is going to provide some sort of matching service so that DS systems can find each other through the net so you could possibly play anyone anywhere in the world. Another theory is that a DS can connect to another DS THROUGH a DS in between the two players, so one DS would act as a bridge for the connection. No one really knows.
All I Know is that I pre prdered my DS. ^_^

What Nintendo NEEDS to do is make some kind of adaptor to turn this into a PHILIPS PRONTO pretty much. I want to use it as a touch screen learning remote control for all my electronics LOL Though using your fingers, I'm not sure if that would work. :hmm:

I was in early on this and I feel it is more Hype than substance. I gave my opinion there and will repeat it here...
Cliff hangers need to leave us wanting more. Which means the story must move forward in a way that pulls the audience in. The last few clues have been either repetitive or far to obfuscated to really keep the story moving.
That said... I've lost interest due to the shear lack new insights and constant repetition of the same, often disproved, ideas.
I'm moving on for now.
To Chad; I would ask that you try to see all this from our point of view. Forget that you know what the hell you are hinting at and see the "clues" as if you've seen them for the first time. If you really want us to solve, this change the way you are doing things. If it is just a matter of building hype, you are going to burn many bridges.
<snip>Removed unreleated stuff about how I think forums should be run.</snip>
And so I bid adieu.
I still check in but I'm no longer posting. At any rate expect a "Ho-Hum" announcement about the time of the release of the DS.
