A Boy's "Famicom 20th Ann. Shirt" Theme Contest

I ordered an "Famicom 20th Anniversary" t-shirt on Lik-Sang.com.

The thing is way too damned big. I figured it was a Japanese size large. In reality, it's more like a U.S. size large/XL.

So. If you wear t-shirts of that size and dig the Famicom, here's your chance to own a fabulous piece of clothing!

Oh. And I want someone who will ACTUALLY WEAR THIS THING. I don't want it to sit on a shelf or hang on a wall. It's a cool shirt, dammit. It should be worn.

If you're interested in obtaining this thing, tell me why I should give it to you in 200 words or fewer. I won't count any entries after midnight Sunday (12:00 A.M. Monday).

First, the shirt will fit me. Second I live in New Mexico so the postage would be cheap. Third, giving me the shirt will restore your good karma for being so obnoxious to me in the Off-Topic section for rooting for the Red Sox (link) (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44062&start=50). Fourth and most importantly I am an old Atari 2600 fan and - much like my Yankees-cum-Sox support I think that between its accomplishments and the longevity factor that the NES has finally truly earned its stripes as a "retro" console and would thus proudly wear such a shirt in my lifelong quest to celebrate all things retrogaming, even when that means generations after my own. Pick me.

Think about it. It may not just be your karma at stake but that of the whole Red Sox franchise. Give me the shirt and keep that curse reversed.

I think I should have the shirt because I am an attention whore. I love it when I wear something only a few people might recognize just for that rare "Hey, I remember that." remark from a stranger. I want to have a cool shirt to wear to the game stores proudly so I can get all the employees talking so I can establish a bond greater than the one that already exists. The shirt would be a perfect size for me. Also, I changed my avatar when it offended you. I didn't have to do that. I'm not a bad guy. I'm in Cleveland, which may make for cheaper shipping. I would love to wear this shirt as much as I could. I just may do laundry more often than I should just so I could wear it more. Of course, this would be the only way to buy this shirt, since i'm almost dead broke. And asking anyone else for money would be useless.

Nintendo DS will be released on November 23rd. What will I be doing until then? I will be playing my Famicom. I believe that I need this shirt to lessen the pain of waiting for the DS to be released.

First of all, I see you are from Texas. I liked it down in Texas when I went there on vacation, and had considered it a place in which I may move some day. Therefore, that adds a few points about you in my book.

Onto the shirt. I am a big Nintendo/Famicom fan, and somewhat of a collector. However, I am also one of those poor people which fit into the category of "college students." It would always be nice to have a neat shirt like that.

I also run a nice Nintendo website (see my sig.) If this does not show pure dedication to the Nintendo/Famicom, then what does? I've never received a cent for my hard work and dedication on this site, so it would be nice to get something from my hard work. :P

To start this off I am a complete Nintendo Freak. I love my NES, GB, GC, and collection of 5 famiclones. I even have DDR (with pad) for Famicom. I often play it to, the PS2 version has gotten shelfed since my Famicom version came along.

Although the shirt is to big on me at first that isn't a problem, I usually wear them big anyway. 1 or 2 times in the wash it will be ready to be sported to school. Show off my retro (and Nintendo) Love. Everybody would envy me and my kick-ass famicom shirt. Is there really a better person to give the shirt to? There is a possibilty it could catch someones attention, and they would buy a Famicom. I already got one kid hooked on a famiclone he got form me. He plays it more then his xbox!

I would never shelf a nice Video Game shirt , they are made to be worn. I had 3 shirts that I ended up throwing away cause I wore them so many times. The pictures just looked like crapola.

SO as you can see I clearly am the best choice. But I am just about to hit word limit, so pick me!
