200 hours of gameplay (allegedly)?

i pre-ordered this today just to get bonus credit for trade ins at EB, and i must say, while vice city left me a bit cold, SA sounds like it should be great, assuming they can keep the fun factor up for that long. the character development and improved controls should really be something if they pull it all off.

didn't see any recent threads on it, so....who else is looking forward to GTA: SA?

Picking it up tommorow night, have had it preordered for a long time. I LOVED Vice City, the 80s is my favorite decade, even though I was only born in 86. I'm sure SA will have good gameplay, but I donno how much I will like the "gangsta" backdrop. At least its in the 90s, so we SHOULDN'T see spinners or anything like that.

No way. I should've been a teenager in the 80s. I love the music, style, and attitude of the 80s. I can't stand the "bling bling get the money dollar dollar bill ya'll" generation  .

Let the irony of those two successive sentences soak in....ahhh...that's right. If there were only some way to bottle it...

Hrmm... I just got put in my place @_@ . Infact I think I stated the ONLY thing that the 80s and now have in common.

'twasn't so much about that as I found those two sentences funny back to back. The 80's was very much a greedy time period, as evidenced by the sort of 'time capsule' at hand, GTA:VC.
