I was thinking about getting an x box on ebay for under 80 bucks. I know people can get good deals by buying a system with a Disk read error. Isnt there a kit you can buy on ebay also to fix this? If so has anyone here done this? Does it work? Thanks.

If you buy one with DRE, I'd buy a new DVDrom drive while you were at it.

Why you don't you just get a refrubished one with a warrenty from a local EB or GameStop, and get some games and XBox Live with it? You can get the system, the warrenty, and five games for under $200.
