View Full Version : R zone queston
I am about to complete a trade for a few SMS things and an R zone, the trader said that it works but there is something odd about it. I trust this trader, as I have traded with him before, but I was just wondering if this is true for all R zones. It is the Headgear model. He said that it sounds and feels a little weird. "Off" was the term he used. Whattayathink? I have wanted one for a while, but I dont wnat one thats all fucked up. If it turns out that it is just the way the system is, then I will get it. Help me out.

I think that, any way you slice it, the R-Zone will always be considered a bit "off".
thats what I thought too. I guess Im gonna go for it just cuz I want one.
I always wanted the NiGHTS R-Zone
Well, I got it, and it is a little "off". I dont know if it is just mine, but I can barely make out whats goin on on the screen.

That's normal for the headgear style R-Zone. The images are very faint and you have to get the rooms lighting JUST RIGHT to be able to clearly see what's going on (not that there's ever much going on).
If you dig the retro style of these LCD games I'd recommend getting the R-Zone tabletop or XPG (handheld) styles. The tabletop is the best as it has the clearest picture (and not on a red background).

Make sure it has the little hinged screen on it...these are usually broken off...

I think at a K B Toys near me, they have some sealed R Zone toys for sale, and one of the was a Panzer Dragoon game. I was thinking about picking it up, but didn't want to waste my money.

I got the Panzer Dragoon one in a trade just so i could have it. I never really knew that much about Rzon but i want to get all 27 games for it just to have a complete library.
From what i gather it isn't to hard to find them all.
