Sorry if this has been posted before, a quick search found me nothing...
Does anyone know more about this soon-to-be-released item? It seems to be similar to the Atari and Activition TV systems, but with only 5 games. Are the games it comes with any good? Worth $25?

Cool. I know they're taking pre-orders on Amazon, with a Dec. 15 release date. So, I guess it's just soon to be released on Amazon...
Have you played it? How well does it work?

I just saw it on the shelf. My girlfriend pointed it out b/c i was collecting Genesis games at the time.
I found it a bit pricey I think it was $25 or $30.

IIRC, the games were Sonic 1, Golden Axe, Flicky, Kid Chamelon and one other...
I thought it was kind of spendy as well.

Altered Beast wasn't it?
I reviewed the Japanese version (http://www.sega-16.com/Feature-%20Mega%20Drive%20Play.htm) of it on my site. It's the same thing though.

I found it on both Wal-Mart's and Toys 'R Us' websites, although the item is unavailable in both places.

This unit's been at my local GameStop for at least two weeks.

I bought one for my girlfriend at Wal-Mart last Saturday. She's a real Sega nut and it was her birthday, so needless to say she loved it. :D It's actually pretty cool, the "mini Genesis" was a nice touch. The only complaint I have is that the sound is crappy, but other than that I like it.

I picked one up at Gamestop over a month ago for $19.99, along with the Taito Space Invaders 5-game "stick" for the same price. I'd forgotten how much I used to play Kid Chameleon until I got this.
