Did you ever name a pet after something videogame related?

I've looked around the forum and didn't see anything related to this anywhere. I know some of us are 'more into it' than others ... just wondering if anyone did it... and don't mention those peoeple that legally changed their names to Turok.

So any hedgehogs out there named Sonic?


I have two beagles here... one named Flash (he was 6 when I got him, so I didn't rename him) and a younger dog that was rescued (stray) and he was temporarily named Chico... I renamed him to Coleco after the Colecovision... besies it was the only name my girlfriend would agree upon. I tried the "ROM" and "BIOS" to go with Flash's name, but she woulnd't budge.

I named my plant "Bob the Plant" after the one in Maniac Mansion, but I haven't had pets of my own, and my parents named all the ones I had growing up.

J. Mewes Glenn, but r.i.p. on the latter :-(

I had a hamster named Tails a few years back. My brother has a guinea pig named Sakura now, after the Street Fighter character.

Haha, I'll give you credit. That's a great name for a plant. That makes me want to break out my copy of Maniac Mansion and give it a whirl.... hmm now where did I throw my copy of DOTT... :-\
