I don't know if this is the right place to post this, if not someone please let me know where to post it.

1st: I found a mistake in the wonder boy in monster world, under the genesis version. There are 2 pics, one of wonder boy in monster world (bottom) the other pic (top, one with the girl) is actually from monster world IV. This pic should go under monster world IV for megadrive.

2nd: In the english turbo grafx cd section. The game dynastic hero had a caption stating it is wonder boy in monster land. When in fact it is wonder boy in monster world for genesis. the 2 games are pretty much identical. except the turbo grafx cd version has better music, different bosses, and characters, and is way easier.

For reference, the pc engine hu card bikkuriman world is actually wonder boy in monster land. you appear to have no text there.

Hope this helps a little. I could actually right in depth descriptions for all the wonder boy games in the series if you all nedd help.

Thanks for the tweaks! I've made the changes to the local database, the online one should reflect these in the next few days.

If you have any other details you'd like to share, please do :)

More mistakes found.

#1. SpellCaster for the sega master system is one word. not 2. and also under spellcaster it says there's a mistake in the manual on how to cast a spell. this is right, but the response is wrong. the up button has nothing to do with it. All you do is simply hold button 2 for about 1 second, then, while still holding button 2 press down on the D-pad.

#2. art of fighting for the turbo grafx/pc engine says that is also called garou densetsu. it is really called Ryuuko No Ken, which is a simple mistake. all the other art of fighting games we're correct. somehow this one slipped by.

Got 'em, thanks again!

I'm somewhat in shock that our SMS editor missed the SpellCaster one - he's among the more anal of the team :)

I'm still trying to fix all the shit Clint Dyer left in the guide.... I'd still like to ask him about his prototype listings...

While we're quibbling SMS entries, European versions of the stand-alone Astro Warrior, Great Ice Hockey, Great Soccer (cart), Hang-On/Astro Warrior & Hang-On/Safari Hunt are all listed, but these only exist in the US versions.
I'm sure you already know that though, Keith ;)

While were still being anal, I found astro warrior/Pit Pot recently. The database says that is the only way pit pot was released but Smspower.org shows pit pot also released on a card. Someone verify this and correct me if I'm wrong.

Pit Pot was on card in Japan only... and I own one :)

And I've been making secret updates to the guide occasionally, but haven't shared any of my changes yet.

Come on, be nice and share them with us, get them to the database. With Turbo Grafx 16 not in the Classic guide any more leaves room for non us SMS.

And Speaking of Clint Dyer, where's he these days?

found a few unmentioned turbo bits.

#1. cotton: fantastic night dreams for turbo cd has a hidden option. simply press select at the title screen to get a new options menu. you can change the language, set amount of players, and some other things i can't remember. but the language option is the main thing here. i know alot of people have the jp version. so this may make them feel better. this will work on the english turbo grafx super cd and the pc engine super cd versions of cotton.

#2. this is for keith courage for TG16. note to completists should also read that keith courage also came with a rare comic. the comic is the same size as the manual. full color comic. this comic alone can make the game worth 10 times more than it is. so that makes it worth like $15.00....LOL.
