This is why you should always buy crappy paintings when you're at garage sales. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've seen some grandmother on "Antiques Roadshow" nearly die of a heart attack when she's told the painting she had hanging over the sofa for thirty years is worth a billion dollars.

You've never heard of Sothebys? One of the LARGEST auction houses in the world? It's right up there w/that other one whose name escapes me all the time.. But these are the places that host the auctions you hear about that go something like "The world's biggest cut diamond, weighing in at 947584 K was sold yesterday to an anonymous bidder for FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS".

the only auction house worth going to is the one in Jidor. (you can bid on some pretty sweet espers there!)
