Any info on these Fatal Fury 2 figures?

I've only seen a couple of auctions for these, and won them so now I've amassed a few of these. I was just wanting to find out a bit more about them. Pics

I also have a complete set in blue as well as the ones pictured above. From what I understand these were offered in EGM? as a promo when Fatal Fury 2 was released for the SNES or Genny which was in 94. I'd really like a copy of that mag to see what exactly the offer was or a scan would be cool as well. I was told that you could only get one when you sent in but I'm not sure how it worked, cost, etc. Any info or confirmations would be appreciated. Thanks :)

Oh and has anyone seen any other colors than those shown? Kinda curious as it seems wierd why they would just randomly make them in the different colors. Unless you could choose a color or something when you sent in for them.

Yup, you got it right. There was an ad in EGM that if you sent them a stamped envelope (or something like that) they'd send you one free. I have the issue but don't remember which it was. They are just Japanese mini figures (called Gashapons) that SNK America decided to give away as a promotion. I'm sure there are other colors as those kinds of figures were usually made in many color variations. Try searching under Fatal Fury Gashapon(s) on Ebay or try Yahoo Japan to find more.
