I'm a David, and off the top of my head I can't think of any games besides those with David Crane's on them...
However, there is a "Historian" in Dungeon Siege.

Ryan rings a bell for River City Ransom.....can anyone confirm that?
I'm still wracking my brain as to where else I've seen Greg used.....
I can't believe I forgot about River City Ransom. Yup, one of the characters you can play as is named Ryan.

You'd think that my older sister would be video game fool proof with a name like Naomi. Though when sega came out with the Naomi board I couldn't help but laugh.
There's Naomi (ah hell, what was her last name?) that was your medical consultant in Metal Gear Solid, also.
Oh yeah, your right. I completely forgot about her. Wasn't it something like Naomi Cambell?

Perhaps his name is Luke. Star Wars games talk to me all the time, too, telling me to use the force and such.
Cheers

In all my game-playing years, I've never encountered a video game character named Basil.
