Nintendo doesn't want the DS to be thought of as just another Big 'N' kiddie system.
So they martket it to fit that image.

Hadn't you guys seen that European ad that showed a guy playing his GBA in bed next to an attractive sleeping woman? I believe it described the GBA as the second-most fun thing you could do in bed (or something like that).

Speaking of the DS, I was in the back at work yesterday and thought this huge box in the back was a fridge but it turns out its a HUMONGOUS black display. Wonder if it's for the DS? I cut a hole in the side and it looks empty but it has rails along the side to hang stuff.

If i wanted to see some boobs i'd rather go to hooters and spend the same 30$ i'm gonna spend on a game. Except that this ones will be real, in front of you, bouncing, swirling, etc.
Games are really meant to be that, games, not stupid appeal for stupid people. See how well the last larry and the guy game have gotten. only horny 13 year olds play them. And let's not talk about bmx xxx because we all know that 'sexy' games suck.

I haven't played any of these games you're mentioning, but I don't know if sexy games have to suck necessarilly. Again, I haven't played the new Leisure Suit Larry, but the old ones are some of my favorite PC games ever. True, I played them when I was a horny teenager, but the sex seemed more a less a vehicle for humor. I mean, come on, it IS funny to watch Larry get repeatedly turned down and embarrassed, and the very, um, human subject matter keeps you interested.
Of course, I think most people agree that those LSL games were very well-made, and had elements other than the sex to keep your attention. A lot of T&A games are simply that, and devoid of any offerings for someone over 14. But I don't know if you can really make a blanket statement that all sexy games suck.

You know, it occurred to me that I don't think Nintendo's had a really "kiddy" image for a few years, actually. Admittedly, I don't consume as much TV or other media as the average American, so I'm not as in tune to their advertising campaigns as most people. But hey, doesn't Nintendo have the Resident Evil series exclusively now? I remember when I had a Gamecube, the first game I bought was Eternal Darkness (speaking of body parts flying everywhere). And Gameboy Advance does have a lot of kids games, true, but they also keep releasing stuff like River City Ransom, Phantasy Star Collection, Guardian Heroes Advance, etc. and all us old farts (in our 20's) around here get real excited.

I saw a Japanese commercial for the DS the other day. It had Utada Hikaru. She had a regular red dress with a hole cut in the middle of it at the front, near the breast-ish area. Cue Japanese which I don't understand, she walks up to a desk (if I recall correctly), and in the background a song starts. It is most likely by her (sounds like her voice) and it chimes in with "Toooouuuuuuch". Yeah, and then it ended.
So. +1 cool point for having Utada in the commercial.

Yeah, all my friends ask if I am a little boy still because I own a GC and all those GC games. These same people had a N64 just 5 years back.
It's just them that think it is for kids though still. They are ALL passing up on GREAT games!!!!

I've noticed that at the begining of each of the adverts, there is a flash of, what looks kind of like, lightening - horizontally. It really looks like the shape of Samus' spae ship, from the front.
Next, the third advert is the one that really gets me. The dialogue is "touch the screen. Someone, somewhere, wants to play with you." Now that just screams long distance wifi multiplayer (mutliplayer way beyond the 100 feet)
Also, in all 3 commercials, and it may just be for style, but right after the color bars disapear in the begining of each commercial there's a split second frame with backwards letters and numbers. there are three words backwards at the top of the screen, I can only make out one of them as they are kinda cut off, but it says VISIBILITY. And then theres a unch of numbers.
I like these adverts. cant wait for my DS!

I'm not going to claim surgery...but i do tend to believe some lifting device is often used.
That being said, "mature" doesn't have to mean NEKKID BOOBIES! It can mean doing games with stories other than rescuing a princess from a giant turtle.
