The AC Adapter for the virtual boy.

Do you have to use the official AC adapter or are there others that will work?

If so which ones?

It's the exact same power supply as the Super NES, but you need to have the unique connector thing to hook it into your VB.

/hug both my VB's.

The batteries last a decent amount of time, 2-3 hours.

I think nintendo said that no kids under 7 should play a virtual boy because their eyes are still developing and it could damage tham. Or is that just a stupid rumor?

Actually don't most games have a 15 minute play time warning on boot up?

Anyway, it was a joke. The VB is a cool and unique system but it has it's faults like being hard on the eyes and causing neck discomfort if you have to stoop over to play it.

They tell you you should take a 5-15 minute break every hour playing ALL games, but how many people actually do that? ;)

I do. It's probably a function of playing nearly exclusively short games without a lot of continues. Besides, it really is necessary with the VB. I used to play mine a LOT and if you don't take a break every 15 or so your eyes take quite a while to readjust to the world when you stop. Plus your neck feels like you were in a car accident.

I can understand the complaints about the eyes, but there's no reason it should be hurting your neck. Sit at a reasonably high table, and pull the VB towards the edge so you're not leaning over to get to it.

I play my Virtual Boy laying on my back in my bed. Perfect, sudden movements are a no-no though.

People who sit at a desk ten hours a day are already prone to spinal issues. Sitting that ridigly at a VB is just adding to it. There's really not a ton that can be done.

That reminds me of playing "Mega Man Battle Network" on my GBA, I jacked into a Gamecube, and found a program that lectured me on "Healthy Gaming"
