He should go make a post in the "40+ systems club" thread.

Too bad they arent willing to sell that stuff seperately. I don;t really see anyone laying down that kind of scratch for that lot, but there are a lot of neat old systems in that lot and it would be nice if they could get into the hands of the proper enthusiasts. Shoot, I'd take an Altair any day.

Impressive as hell but don't see it selling at a decent price if at all. That's gonna be a pain to ship ;D.

For 16000 months.

This is an auction I could see a corporation investing in, but not an individual.

WOW!!! That won't sell and the reserve won't be met. They need to sell that piece by piece.

@_@

now thats a piece of history, if you wish to call it that. theres no way you'd find me spending $5 on that stuff though, although for $5 i could resell it for more...

It's from the Freeman PC Museum and the high bidder is ra-freeman .

Is that a coincidence ?

Ack! I must've seen this before, too! Well, it's nice to see that the more things change, the more they stay the same...or something. Aw shucks.

Hey, I robbed a bank today and made off with exactly four hundred grand. I was going to buy a small island but now I'm torn.

I don't think you're going to see many California bidders in there unless they don't mind a 31,000 sales tax. :eek 2:

Let me help you decide...small island with full service staff...or a bunch of yellowed computers? Hmm

More plastic = the way to heaven. Obviously (I live this).

For sure, you'd need that island to keep all this stuff on...holy cow that's a lot of machines.
