Kamino, the new boxes for priority at the post office have Priority printed on the inside and if you flip them inside out they will still charge you for priority or not accept the package. Voice of experience. The boxes may not be everywhere yet but the postmaster tod me it was to eliminate the practice you are talking about.

Not to mention that for over a year now, the inside of these boxes are stamped with "Priority mail" all over, so it's obvious what you've done. Oddly enough though, I was tought that trick by a USPS employee years ago when I screwed up and put a package for Canada in a Priority box.

Yeah I'm well aware of turning boxes, & I have kraft wrap too, but I'd prefer to simply put in box & tape up, not have to cut the box up to turn around & tape back together, besides the fact that it's frowned upon by the post office now me thinks. I prefer not to go to that trouble. These are 5 pounds boxed & if it stays in priority box they are in now it's close to $10 shipping, maybe more to west coast.
