Well, the wheels of justice grind pretty Falchion slow around Capcom HQ, but somebody must have held Inaba's feet to the fire. I had posted a previous thread explaining what the optional parts duplication bug was:

While Capcom had stopped the process of duplicating optional parts, they had previously taken no action to eliminate said surfeit of illegally duplicated parts.
Well, now Capcom is going to solve the problem by seizing all optional parts held by players on November 3. A shame to throw out the honestly earned parts in the process, but in this case I'm happy to see the baby go along with the bathwater. Too bad that the barn's mostly empty now, but that's the way the cookie bounces.
