I hate the original model of the Colecovision.I have 2 ,and niether work properly, theyonly play Atari games on the expansion module  Plus they are big, and ugly. Is there another version that is more reliable and/or better looking/smaller? I saw an auction for an Onyx console end recently. Are those very good? I know its rare and i should have bid, but i was out of money :embarrassed:

So far as I know, there's only one flavor of Colecovision, unless you're going to go into minor variations like the Canadian version with French and English on everything (that's the one I have "out on display" in my game room, just because it's a bit unusual in that respect). I haven't had any problems with it in the past 6-7 years since I got it.
What does it do if you leave off the Atari module and just plug in a Colecovision cart?

Don't forget Poland!
Oh I mean, don't forget the one put out by Telegames for awhile (ie, the one with D-pads).

My ColecoVision uses A/V outputs for a nice crisp picture and as of last weekend allows me to press a button on the controller to skip the COLECOVISION opening screen. It has also been physically altered to take up 33% less space.
