View Full Version : Is my DC fried?

So last night I'm playing Bust a Move, when the screen freezes up (but the music keeps playing normally). Fine, I hit the panic button (power), and then turn the system back on. However, all I'm getting now is a black screen with diagonal white lines. This hasn't changed as of this morning. It happens both with and without a disc in. Occasionally the screen will turn white momentarily (when I first turn on power, when I open the top with power on), but it quickly returns to the black/white line screen. I recently traded my rf for an a/v cable, but I don't think the a/v cable is bad - when I put a disc in it spins, but never stops or changes speeds or makes a variety of noises, like it would if it were reading the disc. Any help is appreciated. T.

Thanks. Is this something that I can fix/replace or should I just start looking for a new console? I'll probably have to find the console locally as shipping to Canada is expensive over 4 lbs, or so I hear.

I dont think the DC itself weights that much.
