I am wondering about retro system controllers to usb.
i am talking about genesis, snes, nes, sms, 2600, coleco, basically everything under ps1 and saturn.
i was wondering about which ones had usb adapters, and of the ones that do, where are links to buy them, and also which emulators work for them.

Umm i think Psone and Saturn ones. As a matter of fact I know for sure that NCSX carries saturn ones.

There is also an Atari 2600 joystick usb adapter made by stella (the emulator people) but I couldn't find a link to a place that sold it, try Bidiots (http://www.bidiots.com)

Someone here who is handy with a soldering iron should make a box that has inputs for all the retro system's controllers and a USB output. Seems like it would be a good way to put parts from broken systems to good use.

Here's how to make your own if you're at least a little good at soldering.

Yea like anything good cost adds up...On what emus support it I think all do...Windows just sees it as a xx button joystick...

MOST of these adapters are HID compliant, so they look like a normal controller to winders, and any emulator that supports a joystick can use them.
