I don't want to HiJack a thread, so I thought I would start this:
I want to know the names of games/consoles specifically made for young children (I am lazy and don't feel like trying on every single game that I play).
Here is what I have so far:
Sega Pico and all games
V-Tech V-Smile and all games
Barney's Hide and Seek (Gen).
this is the entire size of my list. I know there are more, help me out.

Sesame Street ABC
Sesame Street 123/ABC
Sesame Street: Countdown

If you are buying these games for your kid , I wouldn't buy too many of them, they are HORRIBLE (even in the mind of a 3 yr old). I would just start him/her on some classic games that are easy , such as SMB , Pac-Man , Duck Hunt , Space Invaders. Those were the games that I loved when I was young at least !
C'mon people....Donkey Kong Jr. Math :D

Crystal's Pony Tales for the Genesis is a step up from Barney (both in difficulty and Parent's ability to tolerate), but still very doable, even for little kids. My girls started video gaming with Barney and then moved to Crystal, both on the Genny, and now are masters of the gameboy SP. Unfortunately, most games "for kids" are either too hard for little kids, or just sucktacular in general. These 2 are pretty good for the little ones though. Good luck in your hunt.

There are also a couple of Dora the Explorer and My Little Pony titles for the PS1.
