Thanks to Comcast, my money has been used to purchase a mix of goods alternative to that I had originally planned. *cue world's largest accordion*

Originally I planned on buying a copy of Marathon Trilogy (very uncommon to say the least, one of those legendary personal computer games, like Macintosh System Shock) and in the last day it was at $90.51.

Waited until 8 minutes were left, didn't bid.

I believe I'd gotten down to the last 30 seconds and then my internet connection kicked out.

Nobody bid again, and it went for $90.51.

Oh well.

Yep, I think esnipe is a no brainer myself. The small amount that they charge is well worth the money you save on ebay newbies who bid the aution over your max just to win. If I get outbid using a snipe it just feels better than being slowly pushed to my max. Hell with esnipe I don't even have to watch the auction. Saves me time and money.

Sorry for butting in, but I really like esnipe.

I've been using esnipe since May of 2003, and paid out over $140 in esnipe fees. X_x Works out to $7.88 per month. I still say it's worth it! I try to manually snipe the higher priced items now, so as to not kill my points. Maybe keep that down somewhat. But to not have to worry over crappy internet connection, or crappy computer in general, besides not having to be there when it all goes down is great! So much easier this way. Plus I tend to agree you can win things cheaper by sniping. ;)
