What's your nomination for the crown of hardest U.S. Dragon Warrior title?

I' d say 7 because it takes too damn long!

VII because it's like 120 hours from start to finish and doesn't have the best story.

Yep, 7 is just hard to FINISH, I felt like having a lobotomy by the end of the game.

As for pure difficulty factor, Probly DW2. They're all fairly hard/easy depending on how much you level. You level and buy good weapons, it's easy, you try to run through the game, it's hard. A REAL RPG.

Im going to go out on a limb and say that 2 was the hardest for me. I've never played 7, so I can't judge. In fact, if I could vote for 2 of them I'd say 2 and 3 were the hardest.

i played almost all the way through Dragon Warrior 2. I made it to the end ghost town/tower thing. Beat 2 of the 3 minibosses.... saved the game.... and when I went back to play it the next day my quest was erased and I was out of luck. Great.

Dragon Warrior 3 I had the luxury of hitting some kind of bug in the game. I was on level 6 or so with my main character (the guy you don't choose) and I jumped from 6 -> 30 somehow so the rest of the game was a bit easier.... however LIKE THE 2nd DW my game quest erased somewhere in the middle of the game.

I recently started on DW3 again. I'm playing it on Nesticle (yes, I own all 4 DW carts) so this way I don't have to worry about the god damn battery losing my game on me! Now...maybe one day I'll attempt 2 again.
