Seeing how it's advertized right on the box...not so hidden...I think you need to collect 10 of something (was flipping through the guide at work).

Yeah, I've heard it's an almost perfect port besides some changed music. It would seem that the main game sucks from what I've read though. I'll end up buying eventually though, just for that sweet port.

Yeah, LOL
And that's it says it in just about every single ad or magazine saying stuff for the game.
I really want this one. Got the first TMNT last year for GC on Launch Day. I little dissapointed I couldn't get #2 on launch day, NO MONEY!

I think it's great they put the Arcade game on such a shitty Turtles game. Have I mentioned how much I hate the TMNT of today? I do. It sucks. Terrible. I love the olden cartoon version. I miss it. I hate the Anime style and the HUMAN enemies. I miss the robotic foot soldiers.
Also, I hear and read EVERYWHERE (Except NP) that this game sucks plain and simple.
Now.. if only they'd create a port of Turtles in Time.

I miss the robotic foot soldiers.
Did you ever read the original comic? They fought human baddies in the comic.
I read the 1st comic (online) and they dont even get to page 3 before they are chopping up gang members and sending body parts flying all over.
But a arcade port of Turtles in Time would be great :rocker:

Well thats becasue the turtles comics, and cartoons, are a vas tdifference from the early eastmen and laird stuff. It was a shame when they 180 the whole series after buying the rights. But what can you do. Buy the old b & w issues thats what!!

I can appreciate the new series as what the creators originally envisioned in their comic books. And I can still appreciate the goofy spirit of the old series (which I think Mikey carries on in the current show).
I still think the new games suck though. LOL

I don't like the comics. Therefore, I don't like the current TMNT. Actually, I had this argument a while ago. Basically, I am a fan of the cartoon version from the 80's-90's. Nothing more. Nothing less. (Also the movies. I love the movies.) I do not like the eye-pupil missing TMNT. Give me the one I grew up with or give me death! No damn HUMAN enemies. I want robotic enemies, the Technodrome under the city. Krang (?) and Shredder. Splinter. Casey Jones. Baxter. Etc, all from the cartoon. The newer ones sicken me. I don't know why. It's not what I'm used to and you'll be hard-pressed to get me to like it.

In the cartoons the foot soldiers weren't robotic...
I like the movies and the early cartoons. They started to get awful tho... they toned down the violence... they never use their weapons on their enemies lol... Leo will slice open an air vent with his katana (I wish they would have only given him one katana tho... don't know why they decided on that innacuracy with the other 3 weapons being handled more or less correctly) or Raph will throw his sai at a light switch :P It was extremely lame so I stopped paying attention.

The old series started getting lame when not to long after the first couple episodes, might be when they replaced Mikey's nunchucks with that grappling hook.
In the cartoon the Foot were human, it just seems once Shredder somehow met up with Krang he built himself an army of robots and ditched the others, for the lot of good that did. There were only two times in the entire series where the robot Foot soldiers posed any threat. The five part premiere and the ep where one of them became self-aware and super genious. Other than that they kept blowing up after taking one hit.
And Baxter, I liked him in the old cartoon until he to became a joke as the getting ever dumber fly. He got shafted in the old cartoon so many times and still does. But that scene in the new cartoon were he took on Shredder, turtles and the others was great.
But the new TMNT games, I have to agree. x_x The old TMNT games didn't bother trying to match a story arc, as there was none. Konami made there own story and tossed characters in to fill it up. :-P

Turtles in Time = Best Turtles game ever.
The only thing i don't regret being changed in the cartoon was Splinter being a human and then turned into a rat.
I find it extremly silly that a pet rat could somehow learn martial arts.
As many faults as the cartoon had, at least it never showcased Vanilla Ice.
