Had to return my defective copy of GTA: SA today at Wal-Mart. While looking at the other games I saw a stack of these bundle packages:

http://img91.exs.cx/img91/4047/GameBundle.th.jpg (http://img91.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img91&image=GameBundle.jpg)

All 3 for just $10.00 my store only had this one bundle but for anyone on a budget it's a great price. Even if the games are medicore at best.

Kind of crappy games. Though it would work great on trade in offers at EB or gamestop.

Were there any other bundles similar to this on the Gamecube or Xbox?

Exactly what I was thinking. Also I suspect this may be a local thing. I will have to check my store sometime next week.

I didn't see any but I only have a PS2 so I wasn't really looking.

I saw that today at my local store, in Eastern Kentucky. Considering the games included, meh, that's about the right price.

Each of those games sells for $10 each at retail elsewhere. I doubt a Trade-in would be even worth it. You'd probably lose money even. Skip it unless you really wanna play the games or try eBay suckers.

I meant by when they have those "trade in 3 games, get one free" sort of deals EB has from time to time.

I saw the same games at my store in northern West Virginia. I didn't even get as far as looking at the price since the games didn't really interest me.

Wow!..Not bad IMO..I'd pay $10.00 for that.....(If I find that at Walmart I'll buy it.)

I have the CORVETTE game for the Xbox and it's linkable.
but,..
I'd like to buy a set of the PS2 version to link and see if I could use Logitech forch feedback steering wheels to play.
If it's linkable and Logitech whhel compatible.
I need more PS2 link games..

I'd pay $10 to you to TAKE those games from me, if I had them.

I buy that pack for $10 with no issues.

I had corvette on xbox and I payed $20 just for that one.

you would get 19.50 minimum for trading those into gamerush. Of course that is store credit, and not actual cash.

The company I work for, The GameTrader, I calculated it and it'd be $28 trade-in for those three games.

We sell one for $19.95, and 2 for $17.95. 20+18+18=56. Divide that in half (you get 50% of the retail price for complete next-gen games) and you've got $28. You clould probably haggle the other 2 bucks for an even $30 and triple your cash.

Heading to Wal-Mart today.

10$ for those 3 games? There is worse one could do with their money. At the very least, they will net you 5-15$ in trade more then you paid for them originaly.

That defentily looks like a local thing -- a store trying to get rid of some extra stock.

It reminds me of those two PC gme bundles I see all the time at my local Best Buy.

I own Ford Racing 2 on Xbox, Super Trucks Racing for PS2 and thought both were pretty decent, ok racers...but really liked the offroad portion on FR 2..very fun IMO :-P

I might buy them just for gifts for people. For Christmas I can give one to my nephew, and one to each of my young cousins. Them's cheap stocking stuffers!

Then again, maybe not...

The stocking stuffer idea isn't a bad one at all! On the other hand, it's not the kind of game that I'd be interested in buying. It's definitely not in the same class as other bundles as Blizzard's WarCraft/Diablo/StarCraft bundles....

Hopefully they have those bundles at the Wal Mart in the mall near my house. If they do I'm picking one up, opening it, and then walking to the EB at the other end of the mall to trade them in :)

Finally checked the Walmart by me, they actually had that same bundle marked down to $5.00 and I also picked up YuYu Hakusho: Spirit Detective for GBA for $5.88

Yeah, they had a ton of these at my Wal-Mart too. I'll probably do the old stocking stuffer thing as well.

Super Trucks Racing

IMHO the weakest of the three games. Basically it's like stock car racing with 18 wheeler trucks.

I saw something like these at EB games today as well. Only two games per package.

I may go back for Christmas Gifts! Can't beat it. :D

Yeah, same thing here. Actually, my Walmart also had lots of Raiden edition Mortal Kombats, and a few copies of Mario Advance 3 in stock. I'm very happy right now :)

I traded 2 of those 3 Pack of PS2 games at WalMart for $42 in credit at two GameRushes. So I ended up getting X-Men Legends (XBox) for basically for twenty bucks. Not bad :D

I was wrong - my Wal-Mart DID have it. :) :) :) For $10, you really can't go wrong. I'm planning to open 'em up and enjoy them, but buying another set for trade-in purposes might not be a bad idea.

Grimbal, thanks SO much for alerting us to this awesome deal. It's MUCH appreciated!

I bought one to keep unopened until some year in the future when I can sell the "rare 3 game combo" for lots of $$$! Anyways If I had a gamerush or another store that would give twice the value for the trade-ins I would buy 50 of the things and trade them in for 1000 worth of credit.

At TRU today I noticed that they had a psone six pack for 29.99. Though I think it also had the green tag, so it would be half off. I didn't bother to check out what games were included, But even if you could only trade them in for 3-4 bucks you'd still make some credit off of them.

There are two Wal-Marts in my town:

1) The nice one that has the $5.50 DVDs stacked neatly on shelves, a cool bargain shelf for $20 and under video games, and a generally larger selection of everything.

2) The smaller one in a "less affluent" area with the $5.50 DVDs dumped in a giant bin that looks like hell frozen over, a decent but not great game selection, and no bargain shelf for $20 and under games (other than putting all of the Greatest/Platinum Hits together behind a glass case, which isn't the same thing as a separate shelf of bargain games - often niche titles - that don't fall under that category).

Guess which one I usually go to? Yeah, #2, because it's closer. LOL That one had it, so I'm sure yours will too. It might be behind one of the glass cases on the lowest shelf. That's where I found mine.

My local Sam's Club has a similar deal. It's 10 bucks and there are only 2 games, but they have them for PS2 and the X-Box. The only game that was of any interest to me was Mad Maestro, which came with either Portal Runner, or some other piece of crap I had no desire for, so I kept walking.

Costco has 3-packs of different games too - for PS2, Xbox, and GC - but they're $30 a pop. One of the 3-packs had P.N. 03 for GC, which I believe is somewhat hard to find, so I was slightly tempted by that. If I remember correctly, the P.N. 03 pack also came with TimeSplitters 2 (a nice game, but I already have it for Xbox), and something else that I'm guessing didn't sound all that appealing to me (I can't for the life of me remember what it was). Not bad if you can actually find a pack that has 3 games you want (good luck).

LOL reminds me of my situation

Wallmart 1) 5.50 DVDs MIA. Donno WHERE they stuck them. 20 dollars greatest hits neatly alligned in a bin. Horrible game selection and really small for a walmart.

Wallmart 2) A Walmart superstore. 20 dollar games behind glass case. 5.50 DVDs alligned neatly. 10 dollar game pak things!

Sad. Someone needs to let them know. Even if it makes them feel dumb, they'll learn to look around first.

Of course, maybe these people are just lucky enough to not have a Wal-Mart near them. Lucky SOB's.
