Does anyone have a complete collection?
Does anyone have pictures of a complete US dreamcast collection?
How close is everyone else to completing it?

I'm sure that someone has a complete set , or at least a bunch of people are close. Cause to my knowledge there are only a few rarities and only real rarity , Sonic Adventure LE. I had around 40 games , but I was an idiot and I sold it a few years ago :( .

I'm about 3/4 of the way there, and LE, undoubtedly the hardest game to find, I got by trading a standard, mint version of normal SA to my cousin.

How unfair, I need to get more dreamcast playing cousins!!!
I'm up to about 75 games so far.... Long ways to go.
I'm working from the R5's down, I haven't seen any Sonic LE

I'm currently collecting Dreamcast games... but only the "Good" ones. Once I get them all, if ever, then I'll start collecting the "Not so good" ones.
I don't have much, but I have 28 games, and nothing rare at all. Just a couple, about 4 or so, R3 games.
EDIT: Just realized I have a R5 game, Worms World Party. Didn't realize it was that rare.

i have a list of all the US titles that i am after. wanna get the hard to find ones first. I should change my strategy.

umm same strategy as mine... The older the DC gets the harder it'll be, might as well do it this way.

I believe Perkar is about 20 titles away from a complete Dreamcast collection.

i don't have problems finding cheap ones, i just would rather trade for them and there aren't many people who want SNES/N64 games for them. They all want GBA/GC/Xbox/PS2/PS1 games instead.

I'm like three or four away from a complete US set. Sonic Adventure LE is one of the few that I still haven't picket up.

What is the difference between Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure LE? I don't think that I have that game, but other than that I have everything but two games right now.
I've also got a couple protos for Sega made games, Feet of Fury (of course ;) ) with two dance mats, two official Samba Maraccas, two keyboards, each colored DC controller, and just about anything else that I've ever seen for it.
Great collection to have. There is a TON of stuff that I play on a regular basis. That's why I started the collection to begin with!

Last I knew, Rez, Ikaruga, and posibly Guilty Gear X were not released in the US. Good games, but not domestic. Atleast, not for the Dreamcast.

With all this banter on the Dreamcast, I have to still think it was a shame this system didn't live longer...
Its still one I pull out often!
If you guys are looking for games (although I think I have mostly the more common ones) check www.J2games.com and see if anything I have in inventory is something you need.

The person that lives across the hall from me in my dorm is less then 100 titles away which I thought was very impressive when he told me and showed me his stuff. I on the other hand only have i think around 30 or 40
Gah only 95 more togo..... Atleast there mostly sports titles.
I've already found Sonice LE ($5.00) and Shenmue LE so thats the only thing that I was worried about. Now time to knock em off one by one.

I'm 5 games away from complete sealed US DC collection, plus another 65 doubles to play (those doubles were bought new as well), those 5 games are pretty easy to get so I've been upgrading my curreny collection instead, making sure all the sealed games (especially the rarer/premium titles) are in prestine shape before it's too late, just look at Capcom fighters and shooters or any 2D side scrolling shooters, they're getting harder to find each day.
My collection does not include any unofficial games or LE games, nor Sega All-Star titles, I'm pretty happy with just US, official collection of regular version.

Achika hasn't been mentioned yet as having a complete DC set. i am truly envious.
As Flack stated, i am 20 titles away, getting closer with every week that passes. i watched every copy of sonic adventure LE on ebay for over a year, and finally last month found the one i was looking for. the copy i received never went to rent at hollywood video. the seller was a former employee of sega. the disk is MINT, which is near impossible to find for sonic LE.
anyway, check my sig, if you think you can help me out with those final 20 titles. =)

Yeah, I have a complete set, although I am missing the Power Stone 2 case and instructions for Sonic LE. So disc wise, it's complete.
I like Dreamcast, blah blah blah.

I've got 130-140 US titles and about half of the EUR exclusive titles (+ Ikaruga). Dreamcast is a great system for completists because it's still tremendously cheap and the games are very easy to come by. Can't beat that.

Yup, achika's got em all. Last I heard, she was working on all the label variations, but that was a while ago.

Hmm? Oh yes, it's complete including Sonic LE and Shenmue LE.
The only thing I'm working on now is the NFR's I don't have, All Stars, the last Hot! New! title that I need and a green spine Tennis 2k2
When collecting for this system, it's best just to hold out for a complete copy of something. The only exception is maybe Sonic LE if it's at a good price both ways round.

Is there a list of the EUR exclusive titles? And separetely, the JAP exclusive titles?

ianoid:
90 Minutes Sega Championship Football
Aqua GT
European Super League
Evil Twin
Exhibition of Speed
Fighting Vipers 2
F1 Racing
F1 World Grand Prix II
Giant Killers
Headhunter
Moho
Planet Ring
Pro Pinball - Trilogy
Racing Simulation 2 : Monaco Grand Prix Online
Rez
Shenmue II
Stunt GP
Sega World Wide Soccer 2000
Sega World Wide Soccer 2000 Euro Edition
Taxi 2 Le Jeu
Toy Racer
UEFA Striker
Who Wants to be a Millionaire
There are also quite a few demo discs from EUR that didn't come out in the US. A decent number of these cost > 20 bucks (Rez, Shenmue, Taxi 2 and a few others), which is rough. As for JAP exclusives, I think there's something like 500 JAP releases, so there's a huge number of exclusives.
