Particles! BBS is hosting a "Legend of the Red Dragon" contest!
Starting this evening, a new option will show up in "Other Places" from the
main menu under "Role Playing Games" - LORD #3 Contest Game. This is a
standard LORD game, with no IGMs to prevent cheating. To win, you must defeat the Red Dragon twice.
What are the prizes?
Grand Prize: 5 NES games and 5 Atari 2600 games - guaranteed not to be Combat or Super Mario Brothers.
Second Prize: Coleco Telestar Pong Machine
Third Prize: a sealed copy of Asteroids for the 2600.
Other rules:
1 person per IP. If two people logon from the same IP with different accounts for the sole reason of cheating, both will be banned from the game, banned from the BBS, and the IP will go into the blacklist file to prevent future logons. Any cheating will result in a ban as well.
You must be in the US or Canada to receive a prize - shipping overseas would kill me. Overseas users are welcome to play without winning a prize. If a person out of the US or Canada area wins, the prize will go to the second place winner, etc.
