I saw one of those in person and thought that it was the worst looking GBASP since the dual-tone black and silver one. Is this SP supposed to have a theme, or did Nintendo just make too many bottoms and tops of certain colors?

That is by far the ugliest GBA SP I have ever seen. It is way uglier then the onyx. The colors are kinda fruity to, if I ever saw a guy playing that I would definatly laugh. :P Why must we put up with this garbage, while overseas they get those awsome gold Sp's. *sighs*

That gives me an idea...

I can splice together a bunch of Cobalts and Flames and Platinums and Tattoos and whatnot and claim they're all unique limited edition designs and make a killing on ebay! Who cares if they don't work :roll:

I saw them at Toys R' Us today, and apparently it's part of a "Shrek" combo, wherein you can get the new Shrek game and the GBA for a few bucks cheaper.

Me. I think it looks great. I love weird colors. Way better than boring black, like the PS2 and X-box.

While the TRU edition is ugly as all hell, why do you really care how many GBA's are put out. People are OBVIOUSLY buying them!

Wouldn't be nearly as bad if it were a darker green... nah, what goes better with spicy orange would be a dark purple color. However, I do find that the way Nintendo makes those dual-colored GBA SPs just isn't very appealing to me.

On a side note, I picked up the Pearl Pink SP for my girlfriend for X-mas and it is actually quite cool. Too pink for a guy, but not cheap looking or outrageous by any means. It is a nice feminine pearlescent shade.

Yeah, it is a nice hue of pink. Not hot pink (like some Barbie nightmare) but a rather light, subtle pink.

Instead of releasing butt-ugly green-and-orange SPs, why not bring out the Pearl Pink and the Pearl Blue SPs these ways, Nintendo?

Looks like Nintendo had a few too many green bases left over from Target's Limited Edition, which I have, and is quite a nice color. However, I don't understand this color combination as well as several other limited editions (Tattooed GBA SP?).

I suppose we should be thankful that we in the states are finally getting limited consoles, but I'd rather have something like a Gundam cube than a baby puke GBA.
