Hmm... based on our list from the survival horror genre:
http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/listing.cmf?style=88
I've got pretty much all of the Resident Evils, Clock Towers and Silent Hills. I have Eternal Darkness, Siren, and The Suffering, too. I have one of the Fatal Frame games, I think the first one. I know I'm missing one.
FUN FACT: I have never played a Clock Tower game! Is it worth getting into?

The first PSX one scared the poop out of me...you think you've managed to hide and WHAM you're dead. :eek 2: The only "problem" is that the game seems to run on a timer...if you don't complete your goals fast enough everyone you're with ends up getting killed. Oops.

You need to get the 2nd fatal frame game if you haven't already. wait for the X-box release, it will have extra stuff. As for Clock Tower, pick up CT3 if you can get a good price. The game starts sucking near the end, but the first 2 levels are instant classics, very awesome and creepy.

Play the translated Super Famicom game first, then if you like that play Clock Tower for the PSX. They continue on the same story and I feel are the best games of the series.
Anyway the games are pretty damn creepy. While you're exploring there's no background music, just the echo of your own methocdical footsteeps, then suddly the music kicks in, scissormn pops out and you have to book it to the nearest hiding place. Because in the first game anyway. you're an unarmed teenage girl and unlike Silent Hill no one's kind enough to leave guns and ammunition around the house for your convience.
Clock Tower for PSX is pretty cool in the fact that it remembers your past hiding spots, so while you may be safe ducking into the bathroom stall the first time Scissorman shows up, he's find you the next.
Edit: I own:
Clock Tower (PSX)
Eternal Darkness (GameCube)
Silent Hill 2 (XboX)
Silent Hill 3 (PC)
Silent Hil 4 (XboX)
Fatal Frame (XboX)

I don't own too many survival horror games (obviously) but it's a genre I verily enjoy. I guess because they're alot like point and clicks really, just creepier. Unless they're more action based. But those aren't my favorite kind.

The real first Clock Tower on the Super Famicom
is totally in English. Where can i find it and how much
to buy one. Will it work with the convertor that
you plug in the old style Super Nintendo system. 8-)
I saw a brand new convertor that let's you play
Japanese import & Pal games on the Snes system. 8-)
Plus save anywhere you want. :) I saw it on ebay
for $14.99.
I just gotta! play the original one before the PSX
one that i have.
Lemme! know. :help:

I don't beieve anyone makes a "cartridge" version of the game in english. But you can download the translation patch from here:
http://donut.parodius.com
Apply it to the Japanese rom and play the game on an emulator (it used to only work in Snes9x but has probably changed by now) via your computer.

Not alot, but,
-Resident Evil (Saturn)
-RE Director's Cut (PSX)
-RE 2 (PSX)
-RE 3: Nemesis (Dreamcast)
-RE: Code Veronica (Dreamcast) - So far, my favorite RE
-RE Gaiden (GBC) - Just for novelty. It's not very good
-Parasite Eve (PSX)
-PE II (PSX)
-Silent Hill (PSX)
-Koudelka (PSX) - Rides the fence, like PE
-Soul of the Samurai (PSX) - Has survival horror elements & plays like RE.
-Nocturne (PC) - This is by far, my favorite of all and I can't stand 95% of the PC titles out there (very strangely picky about PC titles). Very lush and immersive.
Kicking myself in the head for trading Clock Tower away when I was going RPG mad last summer. Will be getting another this year, for sure.
