I was looking for Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle album on LP on ebay and I came across this most amusing description for the item I thought I'd share with you all.

Yo, Doggystyle is the shizzle man, and I ain't even a big rap fan! Gin & Juice will always be a classic. The video affected me so much that I still refer to it all the time in daily conversations. Remember that one part where his dad says: "Snoop Doggy Dogg, need to get a jobby-job!"? Well I talk like that all the time. For example: "Yo, we need to go to the banky-bank and get some cashy-cash!" Hardly anybody ever picks up on where I got that from, but it was that video that did it to me. Totally influenced me for the rest of my life!

Dee-Ooo Double Gizzle! ma nizzal! I love snoop and was hooked on Doggystyle from the jump off!, i had it on tape first and played that shizzle all the time, and even now! when i listen to it on CD i can still rap-along and remember ever ma-f*kin! line!
this is the album that got me hooked on Rap! oohhhh Wee! ;)

snoop dogg did a cover for that song. it was originally a slick rick/doug e. fresh song, and then snoop dogg did the song. listen to the very beginning of the song. he gives props to them.

I was talkin about the track on the Doggystyle album ;) , i heard the original version, but always thought snoops was better.
I like Doug.E as well! hell i like all rappers! old and new! :D
Slick Rick is the shit and his raps are (were) good but, something never clicked with it all like he was missin' somethin? maybe it was just me? :roll:
