I just recently found a copy of this, and I was wondering, is it a tough to find game, or does it have any big demand for it?

don't think so as I've seen a mint copy for like 300-500 yen when I was in Japan...
also this text heavy so unless you are fluent in Japanese it has limited attraction to western gamers...

Not particularly rare. It's the US version on the Sega CD that fetches some do-re-mi. The Japan PSX version is pretty difficult to play for non-japanese folk!
However... if you're looking for one, I have one. And it's "for sale".

Well, I'm not that fluent yet in Japanese, but it was cheap, so I was thinking about picking it up. If it's that easy to find, then I might just pass on it.

Not even the Snatcher Pilot Disc (PC-Engine) is rare.
Maybe the MSX2 version is somewhat uncommon, certainly fetches a pile of coins these days.
In Japan last month one store had a huge pile of brand-new 3DO Snatcher Pilot Disc for 50 yen. I bought one. ^_^

And I'm very curious how rare it is in this condition, because it seems to me that I got it for a song, but if it's not uncommon to find it still sealed like this then maybe I'll open it when it arrives, but I didn't get it planning to open it.
dj898 & I have been discussing it (among other things) in Import Mania, but I know that not everybody hangs out way down there, so I just thought I'd ask about it here. I know it's very easy to find it used, but still factory sealed?
