There's some more I like - Nightmare in the Dark in particular

I do Japanese releases only...keeps things simpler, like the boxes more, there's no language problem, and they're often slightly cheaper (big difference with Metal Slug, for example).

Thanks for reminding me I need to stick to the course on picking those up! Can't throw my money all over the place if I'm gonna be picking up some of this stuff.

Plus, if I can ever find them, I'd like to get a Genshi-Tou 1930's (Prehistoric Isle in 1930's) cabinet, and a SAR unit would be nice too, I suppose. That one's a little bit too creepy to leave running all the time, though :)

i also have Fatal Fury and The Art of Fighthing 2, but i dont like these 2 as much

I have a 1 slot MVS bord and a 4 slot MVS board (doesn't work however). I play Big Tournament Golf, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug 2, and King of Fighters 96. Those are the only Neo games I have at the moment.

I never thought I would actually own a Neo Geo. I remember drooling over a Neo article I read in EGM back in 1990 or 91 (had lots of pics of Magician Lord and Riding Hero). Then in college I remember getting sucked into Garoudensetsu/Fatal Fury because I got tired of standing in line waiting to play Street Fighter II.

Anyway, I did buy a Japanese AES a couple of years ago and while my collection of AES carts is fairly small, I do have a few gems ;) . Here is my meager collection:

I love my Neo. There is just something about playing Neo Games on a real Arcade cab that I cant resist. Before buying my Candy Cab, the thought of spending more than $50 on a game was non-existant. But damn! They're so cool 8-) !! Before you know it I was buying complete kits. My latest was the LAST MVS release SSVS. I paid $500 for it. Worth every penny!Its awesome!!

The only neo-geo games i still play are in arcade, in a coffeeshop here in my town they have Double Dragon and Aerofighters and Puzzle Bobble.
After beating DD a zillion times I still love this game, for 50 cents i play half an hour,the good old days.It's in that shop for over 10 years now, i hope it stays there for another 10 years! :D

Cyber Lip and Art of Fighting are the only ones that are US versions. I'd probably go with Blazing Star, Magical Drop 2, and Mark of the Wolves as my favorites, since I'm not the biggest fan of fighters. My boyfriend bought the MVS mostly for fighters, though, so that's why that's what we mostly have. I tend to buy him fighters for Christmas and his birthday. It's been about a year since we last got some new ones (last Christmas I bought KOF98 and Magical Drop 2). I'll probably buy him NGPC games this Christmas, so it'll be a while before we get some new MVS carts. I'd really like to get more good puzzle games (like Puzzle Bobble and Panic Bomber) and finally getting a Metal Slug would be GREAT. We did buy the first Metal Slug a couple years ago, but the seller unknowingly sold us a bootleg so we sent it back for a refund.
