It's threads like this that make me want to leave, which I probably will, now. I've read through the whole thing, and it makes me sick. Just because someone doesn't like the same console as you, it doesn't make them a fanboy. Supporting an argument and putting down an opposing console does not make you a fanboy. You call yourselves gamers? Goodbye.

What the hell are you talking about?

Pretty much what I said.

Examples?

well this is the internet where people like to argue with each other about silly things. I actually don't mind it that much and it happens far less here on DP then compared to other forums it seems. If it bothers you that much its easy to avoid reading the one or two threads a month that end up like this.

When forums argue about petty little things, usually there is at least some sense to it. But this... this is just moronic.

so?

this is actually what a forum is for, if you don't like being involved in stupid nonsense, then don't post in that thread. there, problem solved, it doesnt mean someone has to leave.

Yeah...I mean, the fact that there are video games about SHOOTING PEOPLE should be your first clue that there's gonna be some heated arguments.

Personally, I find these kinds of threads to be fun, but I do like to draw a line at being totally arrogant...I've tried that out a few times and it just shows the world that you're not very good at arguing.

Nintendo addressed this 8 years ago, back in the Game Boy Pocket -era. Only thing is....it was only released in JAPAN. Why? No idea...

Well, i consider this to be a rather moot issue because of its limited release. They could have released it and if it sold like shit then the argument could be made that nobody liked it.

Why they didnt bother to crank the light Gameboy out in the states doesn't help alter my opnion that Nintendo is just plain lazy. The market was there, people wanted (needed) a light to play the games...it would have been far better than a shitty Wormlight.

I am *STILL* not excited about either system.

word. Maybe down the road, but right now both are lacking.

As for your entering this thread to try and reignite a flamewar that went out many months ago, it saddens me. You're obviously still seething, whereas I'd forgotten you even existed until you reappeared in this thread.

Oh, please. Get over yourself. All I'm doing is pointing out your repeatedly trollish behaviour at a point in which it hits obscenely self delusional proportions (go crusader boy.. woo!).

And, well, as I said to hydrox, if such behaviour is acceptible (and possibly endorsed) then I see nothing wrong in it.
Hey, if you're going to act like a fully-fledged, paying member of the IGN or gamfaqs boards, then I see no problem in making light of it having a little fun.

Admittedly it's a tad dissappointing that it's apparently ok for the board to go that way (or maybe it's just for certain people). Though. I guess when people can openly troll and try to bully others from the board according to their own self-indulgent and self-serving generalizations, things are going to go the way of the l33t.

(I better use the right terminology though).

Of course, I'm just playing devil's advocate. Oh, and fighting the scourge of.. fanbuoys.
