The rumored Odyssey3 prototype FLASH POINT is now available on cart for the Videopac+ and Jopac game computers as Videopac 63+.

Check out www.dieterkoenig.at/ccc/ for more info. There is also an introduction to the game, a review, an interview with the author Rex Battenberg, and the BIN file for download to play on O2EM.

Ahh, I wondered when this would be released. Glad to see it's finally here!

Congratulations Dieter, it looks fantastic! Excellent that you got Rex Battenberg involved. Now I have to decide on whether I can afford one (well, I really can't... but I have to decide whether that will stop me from buying one anyway.)

If anyone here is in the U.S. and is considering buying a Flashpoint cart, keep in mind it won't work on a U.S. Odyssey2. You'll need a Philips G7400. But if you're considering importing one, read this first (http://www.classicgaming.com/o2home/faq/g7400mod/).

Thanks for the FAQ...I didn't even KNOW the G7400 was basically a Command Center O^2. Nice!

Having played it over the weekend @ Eurocon, it gets my thumbs up. Very good Robotron clone...

If they had released the o3 with this game it would have been one heck of a contender to the colecovision. Plus you had all the games that were cool from the o2 that could be played on the o3. Damn, I gots to get me a 7400...

Thanks for the kind words guys! It was a lot of work (more than I expected), but it makes it easier now, hearing all the cheers :D

Great to hear that you arrived savely at home Mayhem. Hope to see all of you guys again next year for Eurocon 2005! :)

The final series of the former Odyssey3 prototype game FLASH POINT is now available on cart for the Philips G7400 Videopac+ computers. Including this series, 100 copies have been made and no more will be made in the future, so take your chance ;-)

The game comes with cart, original style label, original style instructions, original style box inlay for Videopac+ boxes, an info card about the author Rex Battenberg, and a simple wooden joystick holder (the game plays like Robotron, you can use two joysticks!).

The price is 29 Euro. More info on the game and how to order at www.dieterkoenig.at/ccc/

Thanks for reading.

Sure, Joe :D

TUTENKHAM - a Parker prototype that has been found in the Netherlands and we fans would be eager to see released :D :D

Hehe, BuckyB is sooo lazy (and he had some RL things that cost him a lot of time, like moving into a new house etc.), but I will email him the link of this thread, maybe we are lucky ;)

It's "his" prototype, so I cannot release it ...
