Ebay Rant !!!

Ok, so I bought two games on ebay the other day. One of them was $12 , and the other was $18. They were from the same seller. He had his shipping rate set at $10 a piece (is that even legal?) for one game, but I was thinking that if I bought 2 games he would combine shipping and ship both of them for $10. So I buy them both , and he says that he will combine shipping for "ONLY" $15,. I wanted to puke. I emailed him back saying that most sellers will ship 2 games for around $6. So I just got an email saying he will except $12 , but he is gonna send these things the slowest way possible, not priority or anything. Is this fair ??? I really feel cheated , considering I have 200+ ebay transactions , and this has never happened to me. Please tell me that I am right for being pissed ! :angry:

You got what you deserved...actually, he's being quite NICE on you seeing how you should have asked him first. I regularly ask questions, and just today it saved me from a $200 shipping fee on some Atari computer merch (money I don't have).

I actually did email him first. He said "I will combine shipping". So I figured that he would combine them for a decent price. Oh well...

Oh, no doubt.....but if Dell can send me a 19 inch monitor for $20, I'm sure it woud'nt be any more then $50 for the two monitors, and $75, MAYBE $100 TOPS, for actuall shipping.

you have to take into consideration that UPS and others give HUGE shippers like Dell big discounts on shipping due to the quantity.
