As you may know, the Dreamcast release schedule has been sparce for some time now (I'm talking about Japan) with mostly re-issues of old dating simulators and the like. One of the final so-called "good" releases is a port of the Japanese PC game Baldr Force, which is a 3-D shooter with Hentai (cartoon porn) driving some sort of story along.
Well, I got this game yesterday, and I must say I'm disappointed. I wasn't in it for the Hentai... I was thinking I'd get something like the old PSone game Loaded, except with 3-D graphics, Dreamcast-style. All I'm seen so far are an occasional dull enemy set in a sparse backdrop my Genesis or SNES could replicate. Does this game get any better?
And where's the Hentai content? I know that the Dreamcast game was supposed to be edited (possibly quite heavily) from the PC game, but I expected SOME nipple. The game IS rated 18+, which usually means something even mildly titilating.
Anyone know if the later levels get any better? The menus are all Japanese, so no help there. I want SOMETHING. A good shooter showdown... some naked chick... something to justify my purchase on a new game for a dead system that I could have copied off the net. I try to support the DC by buying these new releases, but this one is really disappointing.
