Oh my god. Look at the price on the box for the game. :eek 2: Now that is a deal of the year.
I will guess bubble bath for $890
And hot slots maybe about $760

10 dollars total someone bought theose for. thats pretty decent

No way they will go for that much. Those aren't even the original boxes (are they???), so that pretty much takes out the value of them being complete. I would say that they will go for around $550 a piece. If they go for more than that, then whoever buys them is insane.

those are original boxes

and those ones that sold for 800+ this past year was major ebay insanity. These games are no where near worth that.

I had a guess... 350 a piece... mebbe a little less for hot slots.

A little rubbing alcohol would have taken the $5 mark off the plastic.

Who thinks he bought those for $5 each? It would be kind of an ass thing to leave it on there if he did. Anyway, Id guess somewhere between $400 and $500 apiece.

Um, I think he did ..

Why not leave it on? It's not as if anyone who wants to buy it is going to suddenly think "man, he only paid $5 - I'm not gonna bid over 10 bucks for that"!

Perhaps they left it on out of pride, to show everyone what a great deal they got .. it's possible!

If i bought those for $5 i would leave it on too, just to compare it with what it's going for at the moment.
I want these games bad, but the prices are so high that i'm afraid these will be the last i will get to complete my collection. Ah well.... :/

I would not attempt to take of the mark in case I damaged it. I never had much luck removing marker anyway.

My guess:
600 each.

There is an interesting thread over at AA about the current high bidder ( andrychiewicz123). He is the one that bought on of the two Air Raid carts that were on Ebay not so long ago. Apparently he got buyer's remorse, claimed that the cart didn't work and (without any communication with the seller) send it back and started demanding a refund...

Cheers,
Raymond

The case is a rental case with a plastic cover. It would be near impossible to hurt the plastic by using alcohol to remove the marker.

Does anyone know if these carts use EPROMs or ROMs?

I know most (All?) color dreams carts use EPROMs.. wonder if anyone wondered what to do with these games once they die from bit rot.

I opened up a Bubble Bath Babes cart about 2 years ago (if memory serves me I posted a pic here) and was actually quite suprised to find that it used ROMs.

I think I saw those before. Weren't they on Ebay a couple years ago? Those were protos, right?

BBB had ROMs? Someone on DP said all the Panesians were made with EPROMs. Never had the guts to open any of my carts to confirm this, so I always assumed it was EPs

I know that all the bible games use one time write EPROMs.

So if those goes, you can't erase/reprogram to restore!

What about NWC? I asssume those are ROMs.

i know how much these are going to go for:

far too much for games that won't be played all that much

Qixmaster

since these have been dumped couldn't someone reburn these games back on to their carts once they die...that is if they are EPROMS

It's sad to think that these carts will one day just die. :(

All NES games that have the seal of approval on them (i.e. made by Nintendo) use ROM chips to store their memory. ROM chips last forever (since the actualy data was "stamped" at the factory). The problem with ROM chips is It's very expensive to produce. (Even today!!)

As a result a lot of the unlicensed companies (who could not maintain the required volume to produce ROM chips affordabily) switched to EPROMs. To further reduce costs, a lot used EPROM chips that don't have the erase window!

EPROM chips are created "blank" and are made to store electrons when they're programed. The problem is that they can hold on to them only so long. Eventually, the electrons bleed away and the data is lost. Those with a window can be erased and reprogrammed. Those that don't have them need to be tossed away.

Even Nintendo used EPROM chips for low yield carts (test carts, NWC I believe, and of course all protos).

I enjoy BBB and peek a boo Poker, but never want to play my BBB. I am afraid to damage the label. :/ I payed $395 for my BBB, boxed just like that one, no marker on it though.

This is kinda off topic but if anyone has a panesian check out the bottom of your label. They are starting to peel. I have never seen a Panesian where the label is 100% non-peeling.
