I was thinking about getting this, looks pretty cool.

Anyone have it or try it out?

I've seen this before. Looks pretty cool but I'd rather spend $50 more and get the Logitech Gran Turismo 4 wheel with force feedback. That thing looks soooo smooth.

AS YOU WISH (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=97,CONTENTID=7226)

I think you can still find them in Gamestop stores. It's an excellent wheel that does 2.5 full turns lock to lock, much like a real wheel. Games have to recognize that, though. I tried it with GT3 and it was like any old wheel. Then I tried it with GT4 Prologue, and got the full effect.

A bit pricey but worth it.

As for that setup--it's below average. The wheel is horrible. It's made by Radica, who's not known for 'quality' items, if you catch my drift.

Now if they can only make a nice set up for the Steel Battalion controller :(

Can you use that with an xbox with an adaptor?

I'm way more interested in Forza Motorsport than GT4.

I wish that other product was good, that seat setup looks nice. I figured the wheel would suck though...

That's a cool setup, but I like the Logitec GT wheels better. I remember when GT3 was big people were taking the exspensive Logitec wheel at the time and building custom contraptions similar to that one, only it had a stick shift on it. I think they even released a manufactured one in Japan. I don't know how much they would cost now, or the availability of them, but if you're a serious racer you could look into one of those.

I'm not positive, but I'd bet my Panesians that it'll work if you use the Game Elements controller adapter. Every janky 3rd party PS2 controller I've used with it so far works flawlessly on my Xbox. I haven't used any wheels with it but there is a wheel setting on the adapter, so I assume it would work.

(yeah, good race butta. it got pretty close towards the end there.)

The wheel is USB. I don't know shit about PS2/Xbox adapters and the like, so your guess is as good as mine.

Oh, I didn't know the Logitech wheel was USB. Well in that case I'd have to say you couldn't use it, unless there is a PS2 USB to Xbox adapter out there.

That kind of bums me out. I was planning on getting one and using it with Arcade Treasures Hard Drivin' for Xbox.

Maybe Logitech will release an adapter for X-box use after Forza comes out.
