I dont know If this has been done , I would take morrowind , Sure it isnts my favorite of all time , but there is a helluva alot to do in it.

Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
I've been playing it at least once a week for the last 12+ years.
I've often thought of this question but more along the lines of if I had to sell off my entire videogame collection except one game what would it be?
It always ends up being Tecmo Super Bowl

wow thats a tough one, i really had to sit here and think for a good while...
i guess i would have to say blues journey or one of the metal slugs, it would end up being a last minute choice for me.

Final Fantasy 10.
Tons to do in it. Completing the sphere grid takes well over 120 hours. To complete the gme to 100% can take over 200 hours. Each battle can be different according to who you have in your party. The graphics and music are amazing.

would have to be tetris on the nes! thats all i realy play trying to beat the 195 lines mark and its been driving me mad for years!! my highest score without cheating is 325,000 and i can finnish the 'b' game on level 9 height ... um... whatever the highest is so it would have to be the most lines challenge, alternativly any nes game, smash it in half and use the two halfs as spades to dig double handed under the pacific to certain freedom!!

San Andreas. Not because it's my favorite game or anything, but just because it's so BIG. Morrowind is big too, sure, but I can't find new ways to pull off motorcycle stunts in Morrowind.

Although I do think I could hit zen with Columns and zone out until I expire of hunger and/or thirst.
It's already been said a couple times but it'd have to be tecmo super bowl for the nes. That game will always reign supreme as the football game king. Unless they where to do a remake for a current gen system (don't mess with the gameplay just update the rosters and maybe the cut scenes).
