I believe that there are penguins in the Christmas world in Banjo Kazooie for N64.

There are penguins in the first opening level of Crash Bandicoot The Wrath Of Cortex. They spin and try to take you out.

i seem to remember a penguin character in snowboard kids 2. pretty positive there was one, i think he was a secret character. what about when you ride on the penguins back and slide down the ice track in mario 64??
in magic pengel for PS2 you can draw a penguin and play as him. you could also draw a penguin in amazing island for gamecube, and play as him.
