Wow, this is borderline insane. Looking around at Virtual Boy stuff, and I stumbled across an auction for one in one of those Blockbuster cases. VB condition is unknown (I have one anyway), but I've wanted one of the cases for a while. Currect bid is only $15, so I'm thinking of throwing down a bid of $50 to lock it in.

Then I saw the shipping charge for the winner. I'll let YOU see what this guy is asking:

:eek 2:

Even if you seal it in a wooden crate, toss in a few cinder blocks, and drop-ship it to Austrailia, I don't think you'd be able to hit a shipping charge that high. I'll pass, thanks.

"should arrive within 5-7 days."

For that shipping price, he should pack it up, get in a helicopter, come land in the street in front of my house and deliver it personally.

Buy low, ship high?

Actualy, judging by the reaction I expected the S&H to be closer to 100$ then what it actualy is. Placing the 50$ on it wouldnt have got it though as its at over 60$ now so aparently someone thinks its worth it.

On a side note, rental cases are actualy worth anything? I should treat my genesis case better then.

Also worth noting is that when items are shipped via DHL, FedEx or UPS they do not indicate how much is cost to ship. So they can claim that it actually cost that much to ship, but the winning bidder would never know.
