View Full Version : How do I sync sound on MAME?

I was playing Mortal Kombat and the sound repeats and it'z also out of sync. The game runs smoothly, it'z just the sound. Anybody knows what the problem is? Thankz in advance.

What version of MAME are you using? You might want to try an earlier version.

Those games require a hefty CPU.
You should be running 2+ GHZ with nothing in the background as a bare minimum.

Repeats = stutters? That's common with MAME...I've got a pretty good PC and that happens. Oh well. Going from Windowed to Fullscreen should help, along with closing out any background apps as has already been mentioned.
By the way, I JUST discovered that you can power up a punch in Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja >.>
Better at that game than I used to be. I wanna get that cab someday!
